Xenia Vorotova who goes by the famously known name Doe Deere is an iconic woman in the makeup industry. Born June 15, 1981 in Izhevsk Russia, Deere moved to New York City to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology to pursue a career in fashion design and illustration at the age of 17. It wasn’t long after getting introduced to the fashion world Doe began her strong interest in makeup and was totally intrigued. Deciding to put her fashion career on the back burner, she geared up and went full force ahead into the magical world of makeup. Moving to Los Angeles, California Doe began her successful journey, leaving her mark on the makeup industry.
Doe Deere is the Founder and CEO of Lime Crime, an imaginative makeup line launched in 2008. The name Lime Crime originally came from the fashion line she started in back 2004. Her fashion line first started off as a DIY line launched on eBay platform. She was “the face” of her brand, modeling everything herself. Inspired by the fashion world beautiful, bright, bold colors she felt the makeup industry needed a cosmetic line with a splash of brilliant colors as well. Married to her friend and business partner Mark; they refer to their three Persian cats Puffy Fluffles, Felix Fluffingsworth and Chester Von Battingham as their three kids. Deere most undoubtedly have a thing for witty, adorable titles, which most of her Lime Crime products have as well. Her company definitely depicts her exotic persona. Usually clad in colorful clothing, bright lipsticks, vibrant wigs, and radiant nail polish she certainly have a look of her own.
