Arthur Becker’s Entrepreneurial Journey
Arthur Becker is a Managing Partner of Madison Partners. Prior to that, he was the President and Chairman of Zinio, the world’s major digital platform. Arthur has also held the position of President for NaviSite, a firm that provided application management services and technology to both the UK and US customers in between the year 2000 until 2010. He has also been a top advisor for seven years for a fashion company known as Vera Wang.
According to NY Daily News, it is during his work time at NaviSite and Vera Wang that he became very much engaged into real estate and technology. It was after the selling of NaviSite in 2011, when his interest in real estate increased through his investment in condominium development in Miami, FL and New York. He also became exposed to some biotech companies in their early stage and became encouraged by the developments in the biotechnology and the economic opportunities that made a relevant impact on people’s daily lives.
At around the age of 16 years, Arthur worked at a small town’s park department where he did the job of moving the rock filled roadsides. At the same time, he was mowing steeps and, that is where he found the idea of seeking a better working place.
As per Ideamensch, Arthur Becker went to Maryland University at Baltimore where he obtained his MSW. Mr. Becker also has a Ph.D. from the child institute of Maryland. In addition, he has a diplomat in forensic science and child psychology from the board of psychological specialties at America.
He has published dozens of professional journals on peer-review which he has presented in numerous regional and international meetings. He also has a book and DVD known for creating capacity. Arthur then finalized on a book called Attachment-Facilitating with Deborah Shell which was published in 2010.
Arthur was very intrigued by the trends and emerging issues in biotech regarding the treatment of cancer despite him not having any medical treatment.
